YE54 BUS

YE54 BUS is currently one of our Volvo B9TLs fitted with Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodywork. It is formerly registered BV10 WVP and was originally operated in London by Metroline as VW1839. It joined the Faresaver fleet in 2024, and took the YE54 BUS registration when Optare Solo SR YJ59 GGF was withdrawn and sold in 2026.

Built in 2010, BV10 WVP originally entered service with First London as a Volvo B9TL with Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodywork. Following the end of First London's operation, it passed to Metroline, where it became fleet number VW1839. It later left London and made the journey west to join us at Faresaver.

The YE54 BUS registration has a further history within the Faresaver fleet. Before being transferred to the current Volvo B9TL, it was carried by an Optare Solo SR, originally registered YJ59 GGF. That vehicle was new in 2009 and spent time with Go-Coach in Kent as fleet number 5001, carrying the registration VLT 71, before joining Faresaver and becoming YE54 BUS.

Before the Optare Solo SR, YE54 BUS was carried by a MAN 14.220 with MCV Evolution bodywork. Originally registered AE55 VGF, it was new in 2006 to Birmingham International Airport and later joined Faresaver. It was re-registered YE54 BUS during its time with us, alongside its sister vehicle AE55 VGG which carried the KBK 750 registration.
